Can We Get off the Rollercoaster, Please

Somewhere there is a cartoon where people are on a rollercoaster that is being built as they are riding it. That is how the world has felt for the last couple of days. President Trump instead of acting as the brakeman is putting his foot on the gas pedal and making the rollercoaster move faster and faster. Unfortunately no one in the administration appears to have the courage to say this is not the path we want to go down.
